I B.Sujatha 37yr old w/o B. Srinivas from Simhadrinagar colony (Malkajgiri) would love to share my journey with my cancer(Lymphoma- DLBCL).
My husband admitted me in RTC (Tarnaka) hospital as he works in RTC. RTC doctors sent me to the CARE hospital (Musheerabad) on 17/11/2017 there I underwent many tests and discharged on 20/11/2018. RTC hospital doctors gone through the documents and suggested two hospitals (Citizen American oncology and Omega). Fortunately we choose Citizen (American oncology). There they explained us what was the problem. It was like an earthquake to me and my family. My entire family busted into tears, I started to think about my two young sons what it would be like if I die. My condition was very serious I was unable to talk and walk , even I was unable to open my mouth to take food. In that situation I have admitted in American Oncology department on 27/11/2017.
My first doctor who attended regularly and treated me well. He used to talk about positive cases people who defeated the most dangerous . He gave me two cycles of chemotherapy. My heart was very weak to take chemotherapy then doctor gave me medicine to improve my health to bear chemotherapy ***** ****** ***** After two cycles my case was transferred to the Dr.S.K.Gupta who is a gold medalist. Dr.S.K.Gupta sir knows little Telugu but understood my feelings and what I wanted to say. Gupta sir listens to the patients with intense care. He gave me treatment for 6 cycles, that time in-spite of 2 cycles I was not able to stand without support. He re-assessed/ re-examined me properly and added few medicines in my ongoing chemotherapy with that I started to walk over few days.
I started observing changes in my body. Not only doctors, as well as staff treated me well, they used to talk very politely share success stories which helped to think positively.
On 31/8/18 my last PET –CT scan was done and results were normal. From the great doctors to the cleaning staff have been played a key role in my success of defeating deformed called “lymphoma”.
