What he/she says
Hi… My name is Azad Bihari & i belong to Patna (Bihar) India. Right now i have just recovered from a life threatening disease of Veins Thrombosis where my JK2 was positive as well. (Bone marrow disorder affecting the veins of liver)
Let’s talk in brief as how i reached to this condition. In mid-April 2015, when i was in Delhi for my job, i had suffered from fever & throat infection. At that time i had taken some Paracitamol with anti-biotic & anti-allergic tablets as per local doctor advise & it feels me that i am ok but after 15-20 days it again arises & once more i repeated that Medicine course but after having these medication i noticed that my stomach gets heavy & bloated. Again i consult my local doctor, this time he diagnosed & advised to do an ultrasound test of full abdomen & some blood with urine test as well. After performing these tests he advised me to earthier admit in a hospital or take another review with a Gastroenterologist as my stomach accumulated liquid & my liver & spleen gets bigger in sizes as well.
After having a healthy discussion with my parents they suggested me to come back to home for better medical assistance & carefulness but after meeting 2-3 specialist doctors there in Patna i have to move again to Delhi as doctors suggested that it is an acute liver disease or vein blockage case & it would be a surgery case. So, for better treatment i went to Medanta the medicity where Dr. Sanjay bajjel (Director, Intervention dept.) & its team taken initiative to do a surgery called TIPS on 13th May 2015 along with under taking care of Sr. Gastroenterologist Dr. Suraj bhagat but after 4-5 days of TIPS unfortunately my surgery was failed due to my body & blood responding against their nature. In short, my body has producing more immature WBC than its need & as end result my blood getting thicker day by day & it tending again blocking that path which opened by TIPS surgery. This time hospital management analyzed & decided to add Oncology/ Hematology dept. for fine assessment of my body & blood condition & then Dr. S.K.Gupta introduced & join my case. After his great assessment & supervision i went for another surgery for second time stenting successfully. After this successfully surgery, he advised me to take some superior medication approx. 18 to 24 months to maintain the required components in blood for better recovery & faster healing from my disease & believe me it works nicely. I am continuously following his instruction & precautions strictly for saving my beautiful Life. As a patient i have faced many physical, mental & economic problems until now but in spite of these i am recovering well & feeling healthy now. And believe me it is only happens because of such great human beings like Dr. S.K.Gupta & other doctors are there to guide, help & cooperate me all the time till the date. *** * ***** ** ****** ********* ** ** ********* ******* **** *** ********* * ****** ***** ** **** *******
Though Dr Gupta has shifted to Bangalore almost 8-9month back but still I am in constant touch with him regarding my illness. What I feel in the last 2yrs or so of my treatment journey—early diagnosis of any illness and its proper treatment and follow up during treatment its very important and to do this it require at least close supervision with doctor and I can say from heart that Dr S.K Gupta (Clinical hematologist) and Dr Suraj Bhagat (Gastroenterologist) take care there patient with full precautions. I advise that there is no harm in getting second opinion from these doctors, if somebody is suffering from any of the disease related to their specialization.
