The two commonly performed types of Bone Marrow Transplant procedures; Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant, are applicable here as well. Usually, a multidisciplinary team of doctors work on your child throughout the transplant process. This team has a Pediatric Haematologist, Pediatric Oncologist, Cardiologist, a doctor who treats infectious diseases, Pharmacists, Dieticians, and Clinical Nurse specialists.
